LEARNING TO LIVE TOGETHER TIL WE DIE

¡¡¡Felicidades Año Nuevo!!!!!

Try to live this year like there wont be a next year, I double dog dare you.
Lots more kissing. More tropical fruit. Sandy feet. New dance moves. Wear all your jewelry at once. Smile at everyone. Laugh harder. Hold all the babies. Watch the sunrise. Be honest. Remember to stop and meditate on how amazing it is that you are a part of everything, even stardust....

AND THE MOON ROSE OVER AN OPEN FIELD

Eric Shantz and his lovely group of hoodlum taggers are Paint Saginaw, a group of street artists who have been bombing lyrics to the song America by Simon and Garfunkel on the ghostly structural remnants of Saginaw, Michigan.
Es muito bein meninos, muito bein.

MILLION DOLLAR BABIES

Just a couple of coconuts eatin' chinese take out and making mustaches. Its not a big deal.

HOMESICK DREAMZ

I dreamt that I was paddling into a lineup of old salty guys at some point break that only exists in my dreams but I think might be my nighttime mind's version of Indicators back home.

As I got closer to the cluster of dudes I could hear that one of them was playing this tune out of a transistor radio that was perched on his board. A few moments (in dream time) after realizing this I got the shark heebeegeebees and very quickly paddled towards shore followed by one guy who had the same feeling.

The ocean really is a funnel of love.... thats bound to get you someday.

First there is a mountain, then there is no mountain, then there is.

Somewhere between Bouillabaisse and ice cream sandwiches, a remarkable discovery was made tonight.... This song works as an excellent replacement for "This little piggy". Next time you find yourself with ten naked toes on your lap, give it a go. Inevitably someone will smile, or at least giggle.

Other excellent songs with mountains:
Magic Mountain and Pale Blue Eyes

GOING TO CALIFORNIA

A few months ago I had the pleasure of sitting down with Victoria Gannon to chat about my work and all things golden, glorious California. The resulting conversation got woven into Going To California, Victoria's guest blogger contribution to art:21's blog!

She's a fantastic writer and a lovely soul, check out her article HERE!!!!
